Dr. Rachael Webb is a freelance clarinetist and music educator based in Daphne, Alabama. She currently serves as a Part-Time Instructor of Music at the University of South Alabama and an Adjunct Instructor of Music at the University of Mobile. She also maintains a thriving private studio of middle school and high school students. Over the years, her students have been selected for numerous festivals within the Alabama Music Educators Association and Ohio Music Educators Association, as well as the the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra, Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble, Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, and National Association for Music Education National Band. Several of her students have gained admission to renowned universities and conservatories, including Florida State University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Beyond private teaching, Dr. Webb has also served as a clinician at numerous middle schools, high schools, and colleges throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, and Alabama.
Dr. Webb is sought out as an orchestral and chamber musician and has performed with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Mobile Opera, Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra, and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra.
Dr. Webb holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree from the Pennsylvania State University. She has studied clarinet with Christopher Pell, Ralph Skiano, Ronald Aufmann, Dr. Anthony J. Costa, and Dr. Deborah Andrus.
